After living in our Fleming Island home for over 15 years my wife and I decided it was time to have all of the builder’s hedges/bushes removed from the front of our house. We quickly decided we wanted all of our replacement bushes/plants/trees to come from Pat’s nursery who in the past have been a great resource for trees we have planted. After spending a considerable amount of time looking at available bushes, etc. we were told that for the work we needed to be completed we would need a contractor. We were provided three suggestions and was asked if we wanted them at Pat’s to see if any of them were available to come out to provide us an estimate that weekend. We said yes, and the first to respond was Colin Barton. From the first interaction with Colin to the day I signed the check to pay him for his exceptional work I was impressed. This young man is the epitome of professionalism, hard working, competent and ethical besides being licensed and insured. After receiving his written estimate, we did not hesitate to sign it and patiently waited for his start date, which happened to be on my birthday. His crew were phenomenal in every way as they knew exactly what they had to do to complete the job well. Colin and his crew were careful not to cause any damage to our sidewalks, sprinkler system, etc and were always responsive when we had suggestions to make the project ours including planting a kumquat tree in the corner which was not on the original plan, and later had to be swapped out for the correct variety.
